This month we focus on the Facilities and Management of our rental portfolio through our tech based platforms and key individuals.
Steven Vaughan: Our Facilities Manager and the main cog that holds all of our properties together - quite literally. With the rapid growth of our property portfolio, we have needed a full-time facilities team, dedicated to looking after our tenants and properties throughout Cape Town.
Steve started proving his capabilities abroad with post-school travels and spending several years in the plumbing and building industries. This experience has added immense value to our clients whose properties are well maintained through experienced and considerate management.
In order to speed up our lead times and ensure complete transparency to our tenants and landlords, we have integrated market leading property management software that enables clients to report issues accurately and effortlessly 24/7 and keeps an audited trail of all maintenance tasks and incidents.
The facilities team lead by Steven provides our clients with efficient, proactive and reliable solutions to property maintenance, inspection and utility issues.
Tallon Dane Robertson: Tallon is one of our Senior Asset Managers who has established himself as a professional and experienced property practitioner in the residential and commercial real estate space. He has brought an innovative edge to our accounts team and is pushing hard in order to assist Evo in becoming the country's leading tech-enabled property management company. Tallon has always been naturally drawn to disruptive technology and innovation, always eager to discover how traditional real estate practices can be transformed for the better of all its stakeholders.
Tallon has assisted in the integration of our rental management tech which provides audited records to landlords for their property portfolios along with clearly managed and interactive lease accounts to our tenants. The cloud based solution allows us to engage with our tenant base in innovative ways, fostering good relationships and assisting in keeping arrears at a minimum.
From registered credit checks and compliance audits through to live account management and transparent record keeping with clearly secured deposits in our trust account - this system fosters great relationships and trust between Evo and our tenants which in turn reduces our arrears, makes collection of rental simpler and more efficient and allows for tenants to move across our portfolio of managed properties as their needs change.
